old established specialized family
battery business 100% Australian &
privately owned.
SPB imports & markets the A C Delco
brand of batteries in selected states of
Australia and the Power-Sonic brand
Australia wide and to the Pacific Basin
Countries & New Zealand.
Power-Sonic Corporation of the USA has
more than 39 years experience in the
battery Industry. From their inception
in 1970 their total corporate focus has
been the design, manufacture, and
marketing of rechargeable batteries and
chargers.
SPB now market
- GEL Batteries a full range but mainly
12 volt 20ah to 12 volt 100ah
- Front Terminal Batteries a full range
but mainly 12 volt 55ah to 12 volt 200ah
with fire retardent cases
- Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) also called AGM
and VRLA (valve regulated) batteries
from 6 volt 0.5ah to 12 volt 230ah
- NiCad & NiMh configured packs for
emergency lighting & other applications
- Battery Chargers switch mode dual rate
& float types a complete range
Our products are sold in over 70
countries worldwide for a broad range of
electronic and industrial applications,
where cost effective DC power is
required. In addition, we are constantly
developing new products to keep pace
with industry’s rapidly changing needs.
The continuous improvement of our
engineering processes allows us to
develop products with better value
and/or performance. The capability to
provide our customers with reliable and
economical products is the cornerstone

Our sales and marketing team in
Australia and the US
is made up of a network of regional
sales managers and manufacturer's

Overseas, our European and North African
sales are covered by Power-Sonic Europe.
